Irene Usher Memorial Pavilion
The Irene Usher Memorial Pavilion is a well-appointed and maintained medium-sized facility situated on the western edge of the Lye Field. The Pavilion has excellent facilities for meetings of clubs and societies and for small celebrations and entertainments.
The Lye Field is where Seend holds the famous annual fete. The field is laid out with soccer and cricket pitches in the relevant seasons. There is also a small fenced off play area for children under 12 years old and a pair of fenced tennis courts with an all-weather playing surface.
There are two high quality all-weather tennis courts located at the north-west corner of the Lye Field. The tennis courts are operated by the Seend Tennis Club; contact Rick Ellinger on 01380 828687.
