The Pavilion Hall

  • The Pavilion Hall has audience seating for a maximum of 80 people.  Cushioned, stacked chairs are available in the hall.
  • For dining/parties we can offer, by arrangement, sufficient laminate-topped tables to fill the hall to maximum capacity. 
  • There is a drop-down projection screen.  A small projector can be provided by prior arrangement at the time of booking.
  • The hall's modern LED lighting is dimmable.
  • The hall has a p.a. system with hearing loop, two microphones and bluetooth mobile device connectivity.  There is no internet/wifi.  The best mobile network in the area is 3.

The Kitchen

  • Ideal for children's parties or large family get-togethers.  Our well-equipped kitchen is included in your Pavilion hire charge.
  • The modern kitchen is located off a countered hatchway at the south end of the hall.  The kitchen was refitted in February 2026 with:
    • 2 x under-counter fridges
    • A plate warmer/food warmer cupboard
    • A small commercial dishwasher for rapid bulk washing.  The dishwasher does not dry the dishes - bring drying towels. 
    • An induction 4-position hob (induction cooking pans not provided).
    • A small combined microwave and conventional oven.
    • A larger convection oven.
    • A hot water dispensing boiler for hot beverages.​ 

Kitchen equipment
The well-equipped kitchen was renewed with new cookware, crockery and cutlery in 2026, it can cater for up to 60 people.
Facilities include:
• Stainless steel prep areas and double bowl sink;
• Chef's knives in security safe, stainless steel prep table/serving trolley and colour-coded cutting boards;
• Induction hob with full range of modern induction cookware: stew pans, saucepans, non-stick frying pans with appropriate utensils;
• Deep and wide serving counter.
Instructions are posted above the electrical appliances.  In case of fire, an extinguisher and fire blanket are to hand.
Warning: People with a pacemaker are advised not to work within a metre of the induction hob.

Kitchen Crockery, cutlery and glassware

Crockery, cutlery is supplied to cater for 60 people.  If you find it in our kitchen cupboards you are welcome to use it.  Inspection before booking is always welcome.

Sports Facilities

Lye Recreation Field  The Seend Lye Recreation Field, whilst open to the public, is a managed facility held in trust for the people of Seend.  We support the  use of the field by any legitimate sports team or group wishing to reserve the facility for group recreation.  We regret we cannot welcome teams and groups who have neglected to make a paid-for reservation!   Groups of people meeting for a Sunday morning kick about, for example, may be inconvenienced by a sports team or private party reservations.  Please be kind and considerate if this happens.

Sports Team Changing Rooms  Two team changing rooms are available for hire at the time of booking.  Showers/WC available.    
Tennis Courts  The two tennis courts are operated by Seend Tennis Club and bookable online. ​When booking a court, login to http://Clubspark.lta.org.uk/SeendTennisClub, go to 'Court Bookings' page, look at the top right "View my bookings' and scroll to "view as member', which should allow you to book a court.
