The Seend Lye Field 100 Club
The 100 Club was set up many years ago to support the upkeep of the Lye Recreation Field and Pavilion. Basically it’s a monthly lottery whereby two thirds of the subscription income is redistributed in prizes, while the remaining third goes to help maintain the Lye Field and Pavilion, both of which are held in trust for our parish. The Lye Field claims Gift Aid on your £5.00 donation. Each monthly draw has six prizes totalling £135, except at Christmas when the prizes can total over £300, the first prize being £75! Each annual subscription costs £15, of which £5 goes to the Lye Field as a donation on which Gift Aid can be claimed. You may buy as many subscriptions as you like – the more you buy, the better your chances of winning, and the more money for the Lye Field. Currently we have 179 subscribers. We hope to build on this number for 2024, but to do so we need your subscription!
Gift Aid: you can also Gift-Aid the donation part of the subscription so that the Lye Field can reclaim an additional £1.40 (per £5) from the Inland Revenue. You must be a UK taxpayer and have paid income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax reclaimed on your donation.
