Vintage Fete Art

We found the hand painted fete signs below, which we believe were painted by Ron Westacott who was a valued supporter of the Seend Lye Recreation Field and the annual Seend Fete.  The signs were used to identify the fete stalls and games and are mostly painted on hardboard.  We photographed them because they evoke a past era and might continue to inspire the living tradition of the Seend Fete and Flower Show.
